Ludhiana Angels Network (LAN) invited Sanjeev Arora, Punjab Minister of Industry & Commerce, and Investment Promotion, to inaugurate its flagship programme named Fuelerator in the presence of eminent personalities from Ludhiana, including the owners of Hero Enterprise, Highway Industries, Centex, and Vardhaman.
As many as seven food startups pitched in front of industry leaders, investors and family offices for funding and mentoring support at the event.
Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain was the guest of honour. All the stakeholders of the startup ecosystem like Startup Punjab, PSCST, Chandigarh Angels Network, TiE Chandigarh, IIT Ropar, Chitkara University, GNDEC, PAU, GADVASU and UBS also present.
As many as 30 startups from the state participated in the event. Among the over 30 business houses present, some were impressed by the pitching and agreed to provide funding.
Next year’s Fuelerator will be on textiles and is slated to be held in the last week of February 2026.
