MLA Bagga kick-starts unique project to construct sports park
For developing sports culture among children, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga inaugurated a first- of-its-kind project to establish a sports park in Ward 94 in the Ludhiana North constituency on Thursday.
The project is being taken up at a cost of around Rs 72 lakh and infrastructure would be developed for different games such as cricket, badminton, volleyball and basketball.
MLA Madan Lal Bagga and councillor Aman Bagga said a unique initiative had been taken up for developing sports parks in different areas of the North constituency and first such park would be established in Ward 94. The initiative aims to develop sports culture among residents, especially children, which would also keep them healthy. More such parks would be established in the North constituency in the future.
Earlier, MLA Bagga had also inaugurated sports courts, which were established by transforming vacant spaces under Lakkar Bridge.
