The 16th National Conference on Health Professions Education (NCHPE) was inaugurated at Christian Medical College (CMC).

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr Abhijat Chandra Kant Sheth, chairman, National Medical Commission (NMC). Dr Sheth emphasised the importance of competency-based medical education and the collective role of educators and institutions in shaping future healthcare professionals. A major highlight of the event was the first-ever hackathon at NCHPE, where 23 student teams from across the country presented innovative ideas in medical education.
