People across the world will now able to imbibe the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib and have an insight into Sikh history in four languages (Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu) through a single click on the updated version of Isher Micro Media Android and iOS App developed by Baljinder Singh, chief of the Gurdwara Karamsar Rara Sahib, situated along the Bathinda Branch of the Sirhind Canal near here.

The app was formally launched and dedicated to the spread of teachings of the ten Sikh Gurus across the world during a function held at the gurdwara.

Sikh clergy sharing the dais during the function included, Akal Takht Jathedar Raghbir Singh, Damdama Sahib Jathedar Harpreet Singh, Amarjit Singh, Sultan Singh (Keshgarh Sahib), SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami and Gagandeep Singh.

Secretary Randhir Singh Dhindsa said the updated version of the Isher Micro Media Android App was launched by senior Sikh clergy during a function held at the Gurdwara Karamsar in Payal with intent to enable more people to have easy access to teachings of Guru Granth Sahib, Sikh history and other Sikh literature in digital form.

Dhindsa said IMM was a powerful search engine with many unique options for instant study of any line or word from Guru Granth Sahib, Shri Dasham Granth and Kabit Bhai Gurdas.
