Iqvinder Singh Gill, a US-based alumnus of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, recently held an informal interaction with Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, vice-chancellor, PAU, to discuss social service initiatives in his native village, Chuhar Chak, Moga distruict. Senior university officers were also in attendance.
The discussion focused on key projects, including the neutering of stray dogs, rainwater harvesting, and waste segregation in Chuhar Chak. Gill extended a warm invitation to Dr Gosal to visit the village and witness the ongoing work firsthand. Dr Gosal, in turn, highlighted pressing issues such as the declining water table.
