Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, vice-chancellor, hailed the achievement as a testament to the university’s commitment to excellence in agricultural education. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our faculty, staff, and students. It signifies that we meet the highest standards set by the council and have been recognised for our quality, accountability and continuous improvement,” Gosal added.

Emphasising the importance of maintaining high standards, Dr Gosal suggested regularly updating Self-Study Reports, refreshing student intake and faculty data annually, and adhering to documented student intake capacity and faculty strength. He likened the achievement to the beginning of a new chapter for the university.

Dr Manav Indra Singh Gill, dean, Postgraduate Studies and nodal officer for the accreditation exercise, praised the collective efforts of the PAU community. He described the accreditation not just as recognition but as a call to action, urging the PAU fraternity to continue upholding and enhancing the standards that earned them this distinction.
