Ludhiana, August 7
Punjab Agricultural University and Punjab Agri-Business Incubator have announced the launch of a new initiative designed to foster innovative ideas and technological advancements among students in the agriculture and allied sectors.
Tejinder Singh Riar, Principal Investigator at PABI, said the initiative aims to empower students to turn their innovative ideas into reality. He said that under the financial and technical support, each selected student will receive up to Rs 4 lakh to promote their business ideas. This one-time fund will help students develop and implement their concepts.
About the eligibility and recommendations, he said the students do not need to be registered as startups under the DPIIT guidelines to be eligible for this programme, ensuring broad access to support.
He said students can apply at the PABI website https://paupabiraftaar.co.in or email their applications at pabi@pau.edu. Applications can also be submitted through the Google link https://forms.gle/25eK6ThkHXGpbwQn7 and the deadline is August 19. — TNS
