Dr Poonam Abrol from the Department of Extension Education and Communication Management at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has brought recognition to the university by winning the best thesis award at the 3rd International Conference on “Climate-Smart Nutri-Sensitive Integrated Farming System for Gender-Equitable Sustainable Agriculture: Prospects and Challenges.” The conference, organised by Pragati International Scientific Research Foundation, India, was held recently at ICAR-CIWA, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The award highlights Dr Abrol’’s research in Extension Education. Her thesis, “Documentation of Agri-Entrepreneurs in Punjab,” was guided by Dr Ritu Mittal Gupta.
