PAU society, Nikon organise wildlife photography workshop
Ludhiana, August 6
The Zoological Society of the Department of Zoology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), in collaboration with Nikon India, organised a one-day hands-on training-cum-workshop for postgraduate (PG) students on the use of wildlife cameras and photography.
Held at the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities, the workshop saw the participation of 33 PG students who gained valuable insights into the technical aspects of camera operations, wildlife and landscape photography.
The workshop included lectures and practical demonstrations conducted by Nikon resource persons. The sessions emphasised various elements of photography, different types of digital cameras and the numerous lenses used in field studies. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap in research purposes and broaden the students’ horizons for photography opportunities. — TNS
