PAU students bag placements in Trident, Square Organics

In the ongoing placement session at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, six students have been selected by the corporate giants, Trident Group and Square Organics. Four undergraduate students have made it to Trident Group with a package of 6 lakh per annum. These students include Ankush Chaudhary and Navdeep of BTech Agricultural Engineering, Dilawar Singh Sidhu of BSc Agriculture six-year programme and Anmol of BSc Agriculture.
Meanwhile, Bashir Ahmed Esar of PhD Agricultural Economics and Parampartik Singh of MBA (Agribusiness) have got placed in Square Organics with a package of ranging from 3.60 lakh to 7.20 lakh per annum.
Dr Khushdeep Dharni, associate director, University Counselling and Placement Guidance Cell, said that given the academic rigour and quality of education, graduates from PAU were the preferred choice among recruiters and that the counselling cell was working on strengthening its industry links to ensure the students got good career opportunities after graduating from the university.
