Meanwhile, Veterinary Students’ Union of Ludhiana, GADVASU, has also announced the observance of ‘black Diwali’ this time as their longstanding demands continue to remain unaddressed. The decision reflects the growing discontent among the students, who have been on a peaceful, indefinite strike for the past 25 days at the university’s veterinary hospital. No government minister has yet visited the protest site or directly engaged with the students.
