Punjab National Bank (PNB) celebrated Digital Payment Awareness Week-2025 (DAPW), in alignment with the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) directives. Observed from March 10 to March 16, 2025, the initiative was aimed at fostering the adoption of safe and secure digital payment methods, furthering the vision of a digitally empowered India.

Under the campaign theme, ‘India Pays Digitally’, PNB undertook a series of activities to enhance awareness and encourage the transition to digital payment systems, ranging from customer training sessions to educational outreach programmes.

Under the customer training sessions, awareness workshops were conducted across branches and circle offices, equipping customers with the knowledge to securely navigate digital payment platforms while the educational programmes comprised visits to local institutes to engage and educate communities about the benefits and safety measures of digital transactions.
