Dr Parveen Chhuneja, a distinguished scientist at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) will be awarded the prestigious fellowship of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA). This honour recognises her contributions to the field of agricultural biotechnology. The achievement also marks a remarkable milestone in her career, as now she would hold fellowships from three of India’s leading scientific academies — INSA, the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS), and the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI). With this, she is the first scientist at PAU, across all the present faculties, to earn these three highly respected fellowships in just three years.
