Raza, Pehal bag medals at dist-level athletics meet
Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar, Basti Jodhewal, Ludhiana, has once again proven its mettle in the field of sports. The school celebrated the remarkable achievements of its students, Suhail Raza of Class XII and Pehal of Class IX, at the Open District Level Athletics Championship held at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana.
Raza brought glory to the school by clinching a silver medal in the 100-meter race in the U-20 boys’ category. Similarly, Pehal clinched a silver medal in the long jump event and a bronze medal in the 100-meter race.
Dr Rajesh Rudhra, chairman, Chain of Green Land Schools, expressed immense pride in both the students. He said their accomplishments reflected the school’s focus on holistic development and served as an inspiration for other students.
