Remote Sensing Centre session ends

The 21-day winter school training programme on Geospatial Technologies for Agriculture and Life Sciences being organised at the Punjab Remote Sensing Centre (PRSC), Ludhiana, concluded here today.

Professors and research scholars from reputed universities and institutes from across north India participated in the capacity-building programme.

Dr Pateriya thanked all participants for making the training successful. Guest of honour was Shubha Pandey, scientist, NGP Division, Department of Science and Technology.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
