Residents take part in Tiranga Yatra
A Tiranga Yatra was taken out today to salute the Indian soldiers who defended the nation ferociously during the past few days as tensions with Pakistan escalated.
The yatra was taken out by Rashtriya Suraksha Manch, in association with the Ludhiana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Rajnish Dhiman, the president of BJP Ludhiana unit, said the yatra was taken out in honour of the brave Indian
defence personnel.
Many women, children and youngsters took part in the yatra, which was held in the evening. Participants carried flags in their hands and were heard raising slogans in praise of India and its soldiers. Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata ki Jai was chanted during the yatra by the residents. Dhiman said Operation Sindoor was successful because of the untiring efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and his entire team and the members of the defence services.
