Robbers loot liquor vend at gunpoint
Ludhiana, September 2
Two bike-borne robbers looted a liquor vend at Rudka village near Mullanpur Dakha last night at gunpoint.
Satya Parkash, a liquor vend worker, said he was counting the cash when two miscreants entered into the vend. Before he could ask anything, they pointed a double barrel gun at him and asked to handover the cash.
One of the robbers was wearing a turban. Immediately after the robbery, he informed the liquor contractor and the police.
The police reached the spot and recorded Satyaprakash’s statement. CCTV cameras installed in the area were being scrutinised.
On August 30, robbers looted three liquor shops in one night located on Noorwala Road, Jalandhar Bypass and Rahon Road.
