Scholarship examinations conducted

With the support of the Punjab Vidya Sabha and the Mohali Education Department, the 2024-25 National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) and Punjab State Talent Search Examination (PSTSE) were successfully conducted.

District Education Officer Dimple Madan, providing details, stated that a total of 5,189 students registered for the NMMS examination, out of which 4,668 appeared, while 521 were absent. The attendance percentage stood at 89.95 per cent, she said.

For the PSTSE examination, 4,803 students registered, with 4,188 students appearing for the exam and 615 remaining absent. The attendance rate for the exam was 87.97 per cent.

District Nodal Officer Vishwakirat Kaur said various teams were formed to ensure a smooth and peaceful examination process.

Madan expressed her gratitude to the students, teachers, and administrative teams for their cooperation. She highlighted that these examinations played a crucial role in identifying and nurturing students’ talents and academic potential, aiding them in building their academic future.
