Even as the state government has declared winter break till January 7, few schools in the city, affiliated with CBSE, conducted pre-boards exams for the senior secondary classes.
The principals are worried as the board exams have been preponed to February 15.
“The schools are shut, but if one or two of them are conducting the exam, it should not be a big issue. Students also want to see where they stand, and if students of Class XII come to take the pre-board exam for two hours, there should not be any issue,” said Harmit Kaur Waraich, principal of Nankana Public School here.
