Dr HS Rattanpal, head of the Department of Fruit Science, said the training would help ensure the timely preparation and supply of traps, improving fruit fly management in various fruit crops. Since 2014, PAU has been producing and supplying these traps to growers in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh under its Revolving Fund Scheme.
