Ludhiana, August 2
In an effort to foster innovation and entrepreneurship, Invest Punjab hosted an interactive session today. Chaired by DPS Kharbanda, CEO of Invest Punjab, the event provided a platform for 20 Mohali-based start-ups to showcase their groundbreaking products and services across sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI), deep-tech and healthy food or lifestyle alternatives.
Kharbanda emphasised the importance of industry and government collaborations to accelerate the growth of these start-ups.
Among notable participants were PAU PABI (Punjab Agri Business Incubator) start-ups such as M-Kelly Innovations, known for its value-added products from cordyceps mushrooms, including MushFit Millet-Mushroom Biscuits and Chaá Cordyceps Green Tea; Ribio P Agro Tech, which focuses on enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability through advanced nano-bio pesticides; and Gowriz Skincare, which develops natural and effective solutions using innovative techniques.
Additional Director Communication, TS Riar, principal investigator at PABI, praised the session as a testament to the thriving startup ecosystem in Mohali, highlighting the recognition and networking opportunities it provided for PAU-PABI start-ups.
Poonam Sachdev, co-principal investigator at PABI, emphasised the start-ups’ role in bringing sustainable and health-conscious solutions to the market and the invaluable support from Invest Punjab in helping these ventures reach their full potential.
