Seven persons were arrested in two snatching incidents in the past two days.

The police have arrested Rinku Mishra, Shiv Kumar, Inderpal Singh and Saurav, who were involved in snatching incidents in the city. As per the police, the suspects used to run a three-wheeler. They used to snatch mobile s of passengers. The suspects were arrested near Gurmukh Singh Road, Shimlapuri. One iron rod, 16 mobiles and one auto-rickshaw were seized from them.

In the other incident, the Jodhewal police have arrested three persons, Sunny Sharma of Shivpuri, Gagandeep Singh and Baljit Singh, both from Jodhewal, and recovered eight mobiles, one motorcycle and a Honda Activa from them.

Over six cases are registered at different police stations against Baljit while against Sunny, five cases are already registered at Salem Tabri, Police Division Number 4 and Police Division Number 6. The suspects used to snatch valuables of residents. They have been sent to police remand.
