Shahi Imam condemns Israel’s attack, submits memorandum

Ludhiana, August 2
Shahi Imam Maulana Mohammad Usman Rehmani submitted a memorandum to the President of India through district administration officials here today.
The Imam condemned Israel’s attack on Palestinians and maintained that these brutal killings should be stopped. He said Israel had claimed several innocent lives of children, elderly, youngsters and the entire Muslim community condemned these attacks.
He said the world should not remain a mute spectator and act against Israel for these attacks. He added that it was Palestinian land and they should be allowed to live peacefully in their country. Israel had no right to interfere with Palestinian territory, he said. He also hoped that as always, India would support Palestine in these testing times. — TNS
