Snatcher who dragged girl on road nabbed

The Ludhiana police today arrested the snatcher who had dragged a girl on road while snatching her mobile phone near Rose Garden. The accused has been identified as Pawandeep Kumar.

On January 27, when the victim was returning home from work, suddenly she got a call from someone. As soon as she started listening to the phone, the snatcher on a white scooter snatched her mobile phone. Showing bravery, the girl caught hold of the arm of the snatcher. But he did not stop the scooter and sped away. He even dragged the girl for about 30m, causing injuries to her.
