Sr Dy Mayor directs officials to expedite devp works

With an aim to facilitating the public at large, Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar, along with Zonal Commissioner (Zone A&B) Neeraj Jain, held a meeting with the officials of municipal corporation (MC) at MC zone-A office near Mata Rani Chowk today.

The officials were directed to expedite the ongoing development works and ensure cleanliness across the city. Officials of the B&R branch, O&M cell, property tax wing among others were present in the meeting.

The Senior Deputy Mayor said that the aim was to ensure cleanliness across the city. The officials have been directed to expedite the works and ensure that there is no compromise with the quality of the works.

Further, he also appealed to the public to pay their pending property tax and water-sewer bills before March 31 to avoid penalties. The funds collected from the residents are used for taking up development works in the city and for providing basic amenities to residents, he added.
