Strive hard for dreams, make your parents, teachers proud, students told
As part of the state government’s ambitious School Mentorship Programme, GLADA Chief Administrator Ojasvi Alankar on Tuesday urged students to strive hard for their dreams.
Alankar, who officially adopted the School of Eminence, Indrapuri, as mentor, committed to guide and inspire its students to achieve their full potential.
“Work for your future, make your parents and teachers proud and keep pushing yourselves,” Alankar exhorted students of Classes XI and XII at the school during an interactive session.
“Exams test your personality, resilience and determination. The sky is the limit — don’t stop, no matter obstacles,” he said and encouraged students to view challenges as opportunities to grow and pursue their goals with unwavering commitment.
He emphasised the importance of discipline and perseverance in shaping a bright future. Drawing from his own journey as a 2020-batch IAS officer, he said he also studied in a government school and shared insights on overcoming hurdles and staying focused.
“Every step you take today builds the foundation for your tomorrow. Your dreams are not just yours — they carry hopes of your family, your teachers and your nation,” he said while inspiring students to see themselves as future leaders of the country.
Meanwhile, Amritsar Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Tuesday visited Kishori Lal Jethi School of Eminence, Khanna, engaging with students as part of the School Mentorship Programme.
She encouraged students to chase their dreams with dedication and promised to guide and support throughout their journey.
