Support Arora, minister urges voters
Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from the Ludhiana (West) Assembly constituency, held a booth-level meeting at the Sarabha Nagar main market here on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal urged voters of Ludhiana (West) to support Arora, praising his exceptional contribution to the city’s development over the past three years. He described Arora as the right person to raise the people’s voice in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. He highlighted that Arora had accomplished significant development work even without getting elected.
Dhaliwal also emphasised the state government’s pro-people policies and programmes under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He assured the public of the government’s firm support towards Arora, who had worked tirelessly for the city’s development and welfare of its residents. He also stressed that the upcoming bypoll would be conducted in a free and fair manner.
In his address, Arora shared a detailed list of the development initiatives undertaken during his tenure as the Rajya Sabha MP. Among the major achievements, he highlighted the granting of proprietary rights to residents in the Lal Lakir areas—a task he said had remained unfulfilled for seventy years. Arora said it was the willingness and passion to serve that drove such change, and promised to work four times harder if elected in the upcoming bypoll.
