Sweet Touch Strikers, 3M Super XI log victories
Sweet Touch Strikers and 3M Super XI logged victories on the opening day of the 8th Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) Premier Cricket League at the PAU ground on Sunday.
In the first match, Sweet Touch Strikers registered a four-run win against Vijay Vallabh Swaggers. Batting first, Sweet Touch Strikers scored 118 runs for the loss of three wickets in ten overs. Vijay Vallabh Swaggers could only muster 114 runs after losing six wickets as they fell short of overs. Harshit of the winning side, who made 56 runs and took two wickets, was declared the player of the match.
In the second match, 3M Super XI beat Aarti Ultra Strikers by six wickets. Aarti Ultra Strikers scored 134 runs, losing six wickets, and 3M Super XI achieved the target after losing four wickets in 8.4 overs. In another match, Indra Okanions (105 for 5) defeated ATC Strikers (99 for 6) by six runs. In the fourth match, Sweety Smashers beat Hem Strikers by 21 runs. The fifth match was played between Charlie Kay Jain and Sona Royals, in which the former came out triumphant by six wickets.
