The instructors said that time and again, they were given assurances by the state government that 2,000 PTI teachers will be recruited in government schools but till date the government had failed to open the portal, leave aside make recruitments. The teachers said that they have gathered from all the districts of Punjab in this hot weather but the government fails to heed their plea.

They also alleged that earlier in April and then in May, they were given an assurance that the online portal will be opened soon so that the eligible candidates can apply but nothing of the sort

happened and they were suffering at the hands of the AAP government’s apathetic attitude.
