Dakha police registered a case against Karamjit Kaur for allegedly stealing wheat and gold earrings from an NRI woman’s house. The complainant, Pawanjit Kaur, a Canadian resident, alleged that Karamjit Kaur, who was hired to care for her home, took advantage of her absence and stole two quintals of wheat and gold earrings, weighing one tola.

Pawanjit reported that she had been providing Karamjit with a regular salary and additional financial support. During her recent visit to Patiala, Karamjit allegedly stole the valuables from her house in her absence.
