Thieves decamp with items from shop, school
Thieves targeted a shop for the second time within a few days. The shop selling dealing in sale of utensils is located at Jagraon. Owner of the shop Gaurav Soni said in the past week also, thieves struck at his shop and took away utensils worth thousands of rupees.
“I registered a complaint with the police but no action has been taken in this regard,” he said.
Late on Monday night, two thieves entered the shop through the rear wall and stole steel and copper utensils. Both incidents were captured in CCTV cameras. There were three thieves in the first incident while this time two thieves were involved in the theft.
The shop owner said after the first theft incident, he increased the height of walls of his shop but it failed to stop the miscreants from targeting it again after a few days.
In another incident, thieves struck at a school and fled away with many valuable items.
