Thieves targeted an Exide battery agency, BK Enterprises, here and decamped with goods worth lakhs. They used gas cutter to cut the main locks of the shop and enter it.

As per the shopkeeper, the miscreants stole 127 batteries worth Rs 20 lakh.

An agency employee, Jagmohan Gupta, reported the theft, stating that the suspects after entering the shop damaged CCTV cameras and took away the DVR along with them after committing the crime.

The Moti Nagar police registered a case on Tuesday.
