Thieves decamped with valuables worth several lakhs from a house in the city.

In his complaint, Prabhsimran Singh, the owner of a house on Chandigarh road, stated that he had gone out with his family on October 20 and returned home a day later to find the entire house ransacked. CCTV footage revealed two unidentified persons coming on a scooter (PB10-GF-4675) and entering the house by climbing the gate.

The complainant stated that they fled with two gold chains, a gold ring, two silver bracelets, four silver glasses, two imported watches, Rs 1 lakh, keys of bank lockers and important documents. A case has been registered.
