The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), Ludhiana Range, claimed to have nabbed three notorious drug smugglers and recovered huge quantities of heroin from their possession.
The suspects were identified as Harpreet Singh of the Jhabbal Road area in Amritsar district, Mani Kumar of Navan Kot Mohalla and Raj Kumar Raju of Gurdaspur. The police seized 603 gm of heroin from the suspects.

“Having received information about illegal activities of the gang, we got a case registered against the three persons at the ANTF police station in Sohana and nabbed them at a naka when they were going to deliver a consignment of heroin weighing 603 gm,” the DSP said.
Claiming that a total quantity of 2.177 kg of heroin was recovered during November, the DSP said two drug peddlers were nabbed with 524 gm and 1.050 kg heroin, respectively, earlier this month.
