The police claimed to have solved a case in which four miscreants robbed a couple of Rs 10,000 cash and two mobiles at Kitchlu Nagar market after threatening them with late evening on Wednesday.

Three, out of the four accused were arrested. They have been identified as Jagjit Singh of Chahar village, Bablu Singh of Rajjowal village and Samir of Chahar village, while the fourth suspect, Golu of Rajowal is still absconding.

Four motorcycles, three sickles, one stick and four mobiles used in the crime have been recovered from the accused but the robbed cash is yet to be recovered.

Ludhiana Commissioner of Police Swapan Sharma said police officials, supervised by ADCP Kanwalpreet Singh Chahal and led by SHO PAU Harashveer Singh had solved the case in which four unidentified miscreants had snatched cash and mobiles from owner of a departmental store at Kitchlu Nagar market and his wife after entering the store at about 8.45 pm on Wednesday.

The accused were traced and nabbed on the basis of the CCTV footage installed in the market.
