Three students of Class X held a pupil of Class IX hostage and beat him brutally. They also made a video of the incident and made it viral on social media. When the victim’s parents got to know about the incident, they admitted him to the Civil Hospital on Tuesday night. He had pain in his chest. The student is a resident of Guru Arjun Dev Nagar. A complaint was also lodged with the police in this regard.

The victim’s uncle, Rajinder Singh, said his nephew studies in Class IX. He was called to Tajpur Road Mohalla in Vishwakarma Nagar by students studying in Class X of the his school on the pretext of playing some game.

The complainant said when his nephew went there, three students held him hostage and started beating him. They also made a video of the incident. He said the three students had accused his nephew of creating a fake Instagram ID and abusing but the boy had not done anything like that.

The victim said the three students of Class X slapped him and beat him with shoes. They were telling him that he had created a fake ID and abused them on Instagram while he did not know anything about it. A complaint had been lodged with the police regarding the matter. They were also contacting the school administration to seek registration of a case.
