Two held for robbing pedestrians

The city police arrested two snatchers for allegedly robbing pedestrians of cash, mobile phones and motorcycles.

Giving details, Additional DCP Karanvir Singh said the suspects were identified as Sunny Kumar and Abhishek Kumar, both residents of the Kangnwal area.

The ADCP revealed that the suspects would follow pedestrians and in a secluded spot threaten them with a knife to commit the robbery. He said the police had recovered seven motorcycles, 10 mobile phones and a knife from the suspects.
