The Dehlon police have booked unknown persons for allegedly contravening provisions of the India Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act and committing theft of public and private properties.

A poclain machine and a tipper, used in excavation in mines and transportation of excavated materials, were seized at a deserted place on the outskirts of Bhutta village on Monday. An FIR was registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by Junior engineer-cum-mining officer, Dakha, Shubh Deep on Sunday.
