Three motorcycle-borne miscreants taken away a Maruti Brezza vehicle from a factory manager as he was going towards his workplace towards Paddi village on the Dehlon road from Sahnewal early on Wednesday morning. A case has been registered against the suspects and the Sahnewal police are on the lookout for them.

Dilip Kumar, manager of Garg Factory at Paddi village, was stopped by three motorcycle-borne miscreants on the Dehlon road. Mistaking them to be his factory employees, when the complainant lowered a windowpane of his vehicle, the trio asked Dilip to get down from the SUV, otherwise be ready to face dire consequences. As Dilip was still in a state of dilemma, one of them carrying a gun in his hand fired on the ground. The miscreants forced the complainant to get down. Afterwards, firing another shot, they fled the scene with the vehicle.

The son of Dilip Kumar said as his father was a heart patient, he keeps his mobile in his vehicle. “His mobile too was taken away by the miscreants with the vehicle and my father was left in an abandoned state, completely in shock. He took a lift and reached his factory from where he called us and told about the incident,” he said.
