Civil Surgeon Dr Ramandeep Kaur said people with slight symptoms, especially those with comorbidities, must get themselves tested. “The test is done free of cost at Civil Hospital. In addition to this, people should avoid venturing out and adopt all necessary precautions like washing hands regularly and wearing masks while going out,” she said.

Senior Medical Officer Harpreet Singh said an isolation ward was ready at the hospital. “Presently, no patient is admitted at the hospital,” he added.
