Women held with 110 gm heroin

A woman member of a gang of drug peddlers has been nabbed by cops of the Crime Branch when she was waiting on the outskirts of Hussainpura village for a regular client to deliver a consignment of heroin.

Around 110 gm of the contraband was seized from the accused, who has been identified as Rekha of Green City at Hussainpura village in Ludhiana district. The accused was nabbed from the vicinity of a marriage palace at Hussainpura village. She is already facing two cases under the NDPS Act and had been released on bail.
