To enquire about his son, he went to his son’s office near gurdwara Manji Sahib but employees said Akash had already left the office.

While returning home, when he reached near a petrol pump at Kishangarh village, he was shocked to see his son lying dead on the service road. His son seemed to have been killed in a hit-and-run incident. Some unknown rashly driven vehicle might had hit him and fled the scene. His face and head had serious injuries, revealed the deceased’s father.

ASI Baljit Singh said a case of causing death by negligent driving was registered against the unidentified driver and a probe was launched to identify the suspect.
