The portal would provide students — regardless of their location — transparent, fast, and easily accessible services, Sachdeva added.

Controller of Examinations Ankeshwar Prakash said, through the portal, students would be able to digitally access services and information related to inter-university migration certificates, provisional certificates, and other academic services.

The process of issuing migration certificates had been fully digitalised, and accessible on the university’s website, Prakash added. Now, in accordance with the directions of the state government, the service had been integrated under the Right to Service Act, and was also available on the Saral Portal, he said. Prakash added that Kurukshetra University was the first institute to implement the service under the Act.
