Mumbai, August 19

A 29-year-old unmarried Navy sailor was found hanging in the Colaba naval area early on Wednesday, naval officials said.

“Prima facie, it appears to be a case of suicide. A statutory board of inquiry is being ordered. A case has also been registered with the police,” said an official.

Other particulars like the sailor’s identity, which part of India he hailed from, his family details, and probable causes of suicide were not immediately available. IANS
