5 Punjab men trek home from Madhya Pradesh

Left with no money and food, five men from Ludhiana working at a trading company in Madhya Pradesh undertook an arduous journey back home on the night of April 22. Traversing the 700-odd km distance on intermittent fasting and food provided by truckers on the way, they reached Delhi on Saturday. After a local journalist, who saw these men in a state of distress, tweeted seeking assistance, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Gujral stepped in to arrange accommodation for them. inside
