Police personnel above the age of 55 and those above the age of 52 with medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension and other ailments have been asked to stay at home, Deputy Commissioner of Police Pranay Ashok said in a statement here today.

The officer said while a 52-year old head constable died on Saturday, two others, both aged 57, died on Sunday and Monday, respectively. All the three deceased personnel had pre-existing ailments which worsened their medical condition, Ashok said.
