The government’s novel online education campaign, launched a few days ago to help children study during the lockdown, has generated quite a flutter and is trending online.

The Bharat Padhe Online campaign was among top Twitter trends today. It has received 3,700 suggestions on how to spruce up the plan for better online delivery.

HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had on April 10 launched a week-long ‘Bharat Padhe Online’ campaign for crowdsourcing ideas for improving the online education system. Twitter was among platforms offered for sharing of suggestions. “The campaign is gaining popularity among social media users and the HRD Ministry has received more than 3,700 suggestions in just three days on Twitter and e-mail,” said the ministry.
