-Shimla tops category of cities with ‘population less than a million’, followed by Bhubaneshwar and Silvassa

-Muzaffarpur at the bottom of the list of 62 cities in ‘less than million population’ category

-Ghaziabad and Meerut figure at 30th and 36th spot in ‘million-plus population’ category

-Allahabad at 32nd position, followed by Patna (33); Faridabad ranked 40th in this category

-Ranked fifth in 2018, Chandigarh slips to 29th place; Indore tops ‘Municipal Performance Index’
