New Delhi: The British High Commission organised an e-Iftar party instead of its customary Iftar party. More than 100 people from diverse faiths and backgrounds participated in it. “We felt it was more important than ever that we continue this wonderful event — our annual tradition since 2007 — especially when the world faces a shared and unprecedented challenge posed by coronavirus,’’ said UK’s Acting High Commissioner to India Jan Thompson while wishing everyone an early Eid Mubarak.
