Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has directed junior officers to maintain official decorum at the workplace and refrain from addressing their superiors as ‘bhai’. The Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services warned junior officers of disciplinary action if they were found addressing their senior officers ‘bhai’. Director Ratnakar Rout, in a circular, said: “Such conduct is improper. This not only violates Odisha Government Servant Conduct Rules, 1959, but also amounts to insubordination.” IANS

Washington: Indian-American former PepsiCo head Indra Nooyi and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos have been inducted into the prestigious Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery for their accomplishments and positive impact on America’s shared history, development and culture. Founded by Congress in 1962, the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery tells the story of America by portraying the people who have made significant contributions to the history, development, and culture of the people of the US. Plea on banning TikTok over ‘sexual content’
Mumbai: A PIL has been filed in the Bombay High Court seeking a ban on video app TikTok for being a medium of “unfiltered sexual content, and harming youths of the country”. The petitioner, Heena Darvesh, a mother of three, claimed TikTok had led to several crimes, including deaths in some instances. PTI
